200-level FUTMinna student slumps and d!es while jogging
A student of the Federal University of Technology Minna, Niger State, Abdulafatai Abdulsalam, has passed away.
It was gathered that the 200-level student of the Department of Mathematics slumped and d!ed while jogging.
The Student Union Government, SUG, President-Elect, Divine Prince Daniel, confirmed the incident in a statement on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
“It is so disheartening as my attention was drawn to the case of our dear brother ABDULFATAI ABDULSALAM, A 200L student of mathematics department who slumped earlier today when taking his regular jogging exercise,” he stated.
“I commiserate with the bereaved family, mathematics department, school of physical sciences and the students union on this sad occasion. I pray, May Almighty Alla’ah accept his returns as a pious servant and grant him Aljanat Firdous and grant the family and students populace the fortitude to bear this great loss. AMEN
“As the president elect, I promised to make students welfare a priority in my agenda just as it was enshrined in my manifesto “SURGE AGENDA “and enjoined us to be observant of our health and don’t hesitate to reach to the school clinic for medication and proper care.”
