Eminem – As The World Turns
The soap opera As the World Turns, where characters experience much of the difficulties Shady is speaking of, is mentioned in the song’s title. This song builds on the album’s “Soap” skit to establish the soap opera allusion.
Slim Shady, Eminem’s alter ego that reflects the reckless and dark aspect of his nature, is the only identity he uses on this song. The evil “transforms him” into Shady at the conclusion of the first verse and he loses all self-control. He then keeps terrorizing different women throughout the song.
Maybe from the N.W.A. song “Fat Girl.”
