Eminem – BagPipes From Baghdad
Eminem discusses a former romance with Mariah Carey in this song with an oriental flavor. Despite Mariah’s denials, Eminem and Mariah dated for roughly six months in 2001. He insults her actor spouse Nick Cannon while rapping that he wants to revive the romance. The remarks made against him and his wife really offended Carey’s husband, who responded on his blog: “An at best average Eminem album that sounds like it was created in 2001. I initially believed it to be rehashed old material from when the dude ‘fantasized’ about having a phony fling with Mariah. But suddenly I recognize my name in the verse! My initial thought was, “This is his new sh–?” Wow, very unfortunate.
Eminem was racist, Cannon continued, accusing Eminem aggressively. She has dealt with racial and ethnic difficulties enough in her life, the author stated. Believe it or not, Barack Obama and Mariah share a common racial background. White Mother + Black Father = BLACK. Perhaps I’m going too far, but I thought we had moved past the era in which white males could insult our stunning queens and get away with it. Next, what? Do we really want to hear anything negative about our wonderful first lady, Mrs. Michelle Obama, from this garbage? Or would Marshall have talked about Oprah Winfrey in such a sideways manner? It is impossible to ignore this act of racial hatred. It’s far worse to refer to my wife as a “c—” and a “whore” than anything Don Imus has ever said. Trust that consequences will be meted out. Anyone have Al Sharpton’s phone number? LOL Let’s not overlook Eminem’s amateur mixtape rants in which he described black people as “black bi—es” and called them “ni—-.”
