Eminem – Criminal
Eminem claims that “Criminal” was intended to be a remix of his very first track, “Just Don’t Give a F***,” which served as a major inspiration for the rest of his career. In that song, the performer assumes full Slim Shady persona and goes on to deliver a number of potentially offensive lyrics in an effort to portray himself as a maniac. But he makes it clear in the introduction of this particular poem that such is not to be taken literally. Em seems to find creative pleasure in making, for lack of a better word, weaker-minded people squirm, as hinted rather.
