Eminem – Just Lose It
From his fifth studio album, Encore (2004), American rapper Eminem’s song “Just Lose It” is included. It debuted on September 28, 2004, as the lead single from Encore, and was later included on Curtain Call: The Hits, his greatest hits collection. The music video and song’s lyrics parody Michael Jackson, who was then accused of child molestation, which led to controversy. The song also makes fun of Madonna, MC Hammer, Beavis and Butthead, and other celebrities. Additionally, it parodies Pee-wee Herman strongly, including copying his trademark shout throughout the chorus and having Eminem dress like him in the music video.
The song achieved number one in Australia, Denmark, and New Zealand and peaked at number 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
On the US Billboard Hot 100, the song peaked at number six. It also peaked at number one in Australia, Denmark, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, the UK, and reached the top 10 in Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, and Norway.
