Popular actress, Ufuoma McDermott has tendered an apology to Indian record-breaking chef, Lata Tondon on behalf of Nigerians after she was bullied during the 100 hours cook-a-thon embarked upon by Hilda Baci.Chef Lata, who was the former Guinness World Record holder for the longest cooking by an individual, faced severe online harassment from Nigerians during the event.Taking to her Instagram page, Ufuoma expressed admiration for Chef Lata, commending her for paving the way for numerous young women to follow.She acknowledged the torch that Chef Lata had lit, illuminating a path for others to walk on.Although Chef Lata’s record was eventually surpassed and her crown was stripped from her, Ufuoma emphasized that her title as the first woman to hold the record will forever be recognized.She urged Chef Lata to continue inspiring and guiding young people in pursuing their dreams.She Wrote;“Today I choose to celebrate an inspiration, Chef Lata Tondon.
