Ivorian Fans Damage Buses After Team’s Defeat In Last AFCON Group Match (video)
Following Ivory Coast’s resounding 4-0 loss on home soil in their last group-stage match on Monday, January 22, angry fans expressed their frustration by vandalising buses outside the stadium.
Despite the setback, Ivory Coast still has a chance to qualify for the Round of 16 through the best losers route, keeping their hopes alive in the competition.
In Group A, Equatorial Guinea leads with seven points, sharing the same point tally as Nigeria but securing the top spot in the group with seven goals.
