Kanye West feat. Ty Dolla $ign & Rich The Kid – CARNIVAL
Track 12 on Vultures 1 is a revised version of the song “Carnival,” which was first heard at the December 15, 2023, Las Vegas Vultures Rave (originally titled “H00LIGANS”). The preview of this version took place on February 8, 2024, at the Vultures Listening Party at Chicago’s United Center. This song has a new instrumental, a new choir backdrop, a changed verse by Rich The Kid and Kanye, and a brand-new Playboi Carti feature. After Carti made an unexpected appearance on stage, this version of the song was played at the Vultures Listening Party on February 9th at the UBS Center in New York.
In this song, Kanye West also includes a sample of his own song, “Hell of a Life.” This is because Ozzy Osbourne’s original sample was not approved and was revealed in public, leading Kanye to believe that Ozzy was not the song’s author but rather a celebrity handler.
The song’s album cover, from the Carnival Pack EP Cover, features an Inter Milan Ultra fan chanting the song’s chorus. Singing the song’s backing chorus was a group of “Inter Milan fans”; The chorus of Rich the Kid interpolated
