Napoli Confirms Osimhen To Join Madrid, PSG Or An EPL Club At The End Of Season
Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker who has spearheaded Napoli’s charge to Serie A title contention, is set for a summer exit, with Napoli confirming his departure to either Real Madrid, PSG, or a Premier League club. The news comes as a blow to Napoli fans who have witnessed Osimhen blossom into one of the most feared attackers in Europe, but also opens up a new chapter in the 25-year-old’s burgeoning career.
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis broke the news to CBS, stating, “We knew he would go to Real Madrid, PSG or some Premier League team. He has a release clause of £112 million, and that’s a lot of money for an Italian club.” De Laurentiis also acknowledged Osimhen’s desire to move on, saying, “He has been fantastic for us, but he has ambition, and he wants to play for a big club.”
Osimhen’s departure is sure to be a major talking point in the transfer window.
