A Nigerian woman who recently took to Twitter to label men as “potential rapists” has deleted her controversial post after being accused of selling her nude photos on Snapchat for ₦45,000.

The drama unfolded when the woman, identified by her Twitter handle @pelumiiige_, posted a tweet condemning men, claiming that “all men are potential rapists,” which quickly gained attention. However, the situation took a different turn when multiple users began to share screenshots and receipts, alleging that she had been selling her explicit images to men online.

One user who identified himself as “Ray,” shared a screenshot claiming to have paid ₦45,000 for her nude pictures, saying, “lmao I paid 45k for your nude pictures on 16 November 2024 btw. still got everything here.” Other users quickly joined in, accusing her of hypocrisy and calling her out for trying to paint men as rapists while allegedly engaging in such activities.

The backlash led to a flurry of responses, with one tweet saying, “You accused someone of rape cos he moaned to the nudes u sent knowing full well you’re the one selling ur nudes to them.” Another user questioned her intentions, stating, “You that collect money on Snapchat for nudes you want to use the boy and chase clout because he refused to send you money too.”

As the controversy escalated, the original tweet was deleted, but not before the incident went viral.
