There was tears of joy today at Ndubia, Igbeagu in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State as Mr Linus Eji whose house was gutted by mysterious fire received cash, bags of rice, and other items donated by Mr Azubike Daniel and another anonymous donor.

Our correspondent, Wisdom Nwedene who led the CEO Of Clergy construction limited, media consultant, Charles Otu, and popular skit maker in Ebonyi, Chief Echofe met Mr Eji and donated the cash gift, bags of rice, other items to the man on Friday.

Mr Eji who was full of tears of joy prayed to the donors and asked God to keep blessing them as they remembered him despite the economic hardship in the country.

The CEO of Clergy Construction limited handed over an undisclosed amount of money to him and equally inspected the building and promised that by God’s grace, something will be done for him to ensure that he gets a new house.

Recall that a mysterious fire razed down the house of the physically challenged man, Linus Eji at Ndubia Igbeagu in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

Our correspondent gathered that the fire gutted his house at the early hours of Wednesday when he was sitting outside with his two children, preparing breakfast without removing even a pin from the house as he couldn’t do anything because of his condition.

Speaking with our correspondent who visited the scene of the ugly incident, Mr Eji who is into (Shoe Making) despite his condition said he is depressed and pleaded with good spirited Nigerians for help in order to feed his children in this economic hardship.

According to him ” I was with my two children outside our house around 8am on Wednesday when I noticed that fire has gutted our house and I couldn’t move or do anything because of my condition”.

“Everything in that house was totally burnt down. Not even a pin was removed. I only have this clothing that I am putting on and nothing again”.

“You can see my children here. We plead that good spirited Nigerians should come to our rescue and help us,” he told our correspondent.
