Safin De Coque FT Tolu – Still I Survive
Safin De Coque, the son of highlife great Chief Oliver De Coque, is signed to Dozage Records, who are releasing his ground-breaking duet with Tolu of Project Fame, “Still in Survive.” His father’s contempt for rap music and being in a polygamous home without maternal care are all discussed in the catchy rap song, which also discusses the daily battles for surviving in a society with little to no hope for the helpless.
His life’s events inspired him to write the song for the despondent and forlorn.. Late last year, Safin De Coque released his debut song, “Nwafo,” and soon after, Dozage Records signed him. He is now back in full swing and prepared to take his proper place among rap enthusiasts and hip-hop fans. Together, he and Tolu of Project fame created the song “Still I Survive.”
