Super Falcons Lose Canada Friendly, Win Penalty Shootout
The Super Falcons of Nigeria lost a closed-door training match 1-0 to defending Olympic champions Canada yesterday. However, the Nigerians won the practice penalty shootout 5-4.
The game, which took place in Marbella, Spain, was a friendly training match ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Nigeria’s first game at the Olympics is against Brazil on July 25th.
